"Over the past 40 years, we have changed from a world in which underweight prevalence was more than double that of obesity, to one in which more people are obese than underweight," says senior author Majid Ezzati from the School of Public Health at Imperial College London. "If present trends continue, not only will the world not meet the obesity target of halting the rise in the prevalence of obesity at its 2019 level by 2025, but more women will be severely obese than underweight by 2025." 倫敦帝國(guó)學(xué)院公共衛(wèi)生學(xué)院高級(jí)學(xué)者馬吉德·伊扎提說(shuō):“在過(guò)去的40年里,我們的世界發(fā)生了很大變化。以前,體重過(guò)輕的人數(shù)是肥胖人數(shù)的兩倍多,但現(xiàn)在肥胖人口已經(jīng)超過(guò)體重過(guò)輕人口了。如果照目前的形勢(shì)發(fā)展下去,到2025年時(shí),不但難以實(shí)現(xiàn)將世界肥胖人口數(shù)量控制在2019年的水平不再增長(zhǎng)這一目標(biāo),而且還會(huì)出現(xiàn)更多嚴(yán)重肥胖而不是體重過(guò)輕的女性!
