1. 表示“完全”、“全部”，其后可接形容詞、副詞、介詞短語等。如：
I’m all for your plan. 我完全贊成你的計(jì)劃。
She was dressed all in white. 她穿了一身白衣服。
在口語中修飾形容詞或副詞，可表示“很”、“非�！�。如：
He was all excited. 他興奮極了。
2. 用于“the＋比較級(jí)”之前，表示“更加”。如：
I felt all the worse for the medicine. 我吃了藥之后，覺得更糟了。
Opening the windows made it all the hotter. 打開窗戶后氣溫更高了。
