一、內(nèi)容及分析

本單元話題:談?wù)搯?wèn)題及提供建議(Talk about problems and give advice),討論學(xué)生在學(xué)校和家庭中遇到的種種問(wèn)題,提供相應(yīng)的建議,為他人找到合理的解決辦法,評(píng)價(jià)取舍他人的建議,為自己的問(wèn)題找到最佳的解決辦法。由Section A的 “Talk about problems and give advice”到Section B的向 “Teen Talk, a radio advice program, a newspaper advice column”尋求幫助及拓展閱讀中如何 “Relax yourselves”的介紹,教材始終貫穿“討論問(wèn)題、提供建議”這一主線。通過(guò)本單元的學(xué)習(xí),使學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)使用情態(tài)動(dòng)詞could/should及習(xí)慣用語(yǔ) “what’s the matter? what should I do ?why don’t you …?”,談?wù)撟约旱纳、學(xué)習(xí)中存在的某些問(wèn)題,提出建議,并能根據(jù)實(shí)際情況及個(gè)人經(jīng)驗(yàn)對(duì)他人的建議做出評(píng)價(jià) “Good idea./Okay idea./Bad idea.”。通過(guò) “Writing to a newspaper advice column”及模擬“Answering Lonely Kid’s problems”,指導(dǎo)學(xué)生如何陳述自己的問(wèn)題以及該從哪些方面考慮給對(duì)方提出建議,并通過(guò)拓展閱讀 “Maybe you should learn to relax”讓學(xué)生了解外國(guó)學(xué)生的煩惱并學(xué)會(huì)如何緩減壓力。通過(guò)本單元的學(xué)習(xí),能培養(yǎng)學(xué)生主動(dòng)解決問(wèn)題的意識(shí)和能力,在交流中尋求幫助、堅(jiān)持自己的觀點(diǎn)、聽(tīng)取別人建議的能力,也發(fā)展學(xué)生與人和諧交往的技能。

二、學(xué)習(xí)者特征分析

學(xué)生在八年級(jí)上冊(cè)第2單元 “What’s the matter?”中已學(xué)過(guò)詢(xún)問(wèn)病情、給出建議和情態(tài)動(dòng)詞should/shouldn’t的用法。本單元談?wù)摰氖菍W(xué)生非常熟悉又有親身體驗(yàn)的話題,所以在學(xué)生掌握了“談?wù)搯?wèn)題及提出建議”的基本用法后就可以讓他們自由談?wù)摳髯缘膯?wèn)題或向同伴提出合理的建議。

(1)能運(yùn)用陳述句談?wù)撛趯W(xué);蚣彝ブ杏龅降姆N種麻煩和問(wèn)題;

(2)能運(yùn)用情態(tài)動(dòng)詞could / should提出相應(yīng)的建議,為他人找到合理的解決辦法;

(3)能對(duì)他人的建議做出評(píng)價(jià)和判斷(Good / Okay / Bad idea),從而決定是否接受或拒絕他人的建議;

本單元是第五節(jié)課,通過(guò)閱讀教材,讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì):1.學(xué)會(huì)本單元的閱讀策略。2.在緊張的學(xué)習(xí)生活之余,做適當(dāng)?shù)膽敉饣顒?dòng)是有益的。3.學(xué)會(huì)減壓。

1. Knowledge aims:

⑴.words: until, fit, as much as possible, pressure, complain, include, pushy, send, all kinds of, compare, crazy, themselves, adult, on the one hand, on the other hand. organized

not until, fit, include , send, by themselves, it’s time for…/to…,as much as possible, take part in, see… doing, compare with, on the one/other hand.

2. Ability aims:

Learn to use new words better after they use a learner’s dictionary.

3. Emotion aims: Learn to relax and plan things for themselves..
