1.  由并列詞或逗號、分號把兩個或兩個以上、具有邏輯關(guān)系的簡單句連接為一體，就構(gòu)成了并列句。    
      2. 常用的并列連詞有：
      and   “和”
      or     “否則”
      but   “可是；但是”
      for     “因為”  
      so    “因此”
      either… or…   “不是…就是…”
      neither … nor …“ 既不…也不…”
      not only… but also… “不但…而且…”
      3.常用的副詞有：
      yet         “但是” 
      however     “然而”    
      therefore    “所以”
      Note: 此類詞 前常有逗號或分號與前句分開。
      e.g.
      1) Hurry up! It’s going to rain.
      2) He had to come back home; he wanted some money.
      3) Tears appeared in her eyes, but he didn’t  notice it.
      4) Spring came and the trees turned green.
      5) She mus t be ill, for she didn’t come to school thi s morning.
      6) He found nobo dy in the room, so he went away.

      8) The composition is all  right; however there is room for improvement.
      9) He was very tired, and therefore h e fell  sound asleep.
      10) We must hurry, o r we’ll be late.

      13 ) Not only was my mother angry, but my father also.
