一、內(nèi)容及分析
本單元以生活中發(fā)生的有趣事情及富有科普意義的不明飛行物UFO作為話題,其語言功能是談?wù)撨^去發(fā)生的事情,學(xué)會講故事,進(jìn)而培養(yǎng)學(xué)生熱愛科學(xué)、探索科學(xué)、熱愛生活的情感。是在學(xué)習(xí)了一般過去時態(tài)和現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時態(tài)的基礎(chǔ)上,通過講故事的方式,學(xué)習(xí)過去進(jìn)行時態(tài),繼續(xù)鞏固一般過去時態(tài),學(xué)習(xí)when、while引導(dǎo)的時間狀語從句,進(jìn)而加深對一般過去時態(tài)和過去進(jìn)行時態(tài)意義的理解和應(yīng)用。
Section A:活動1a至2c主要通過聽說的方式,描述UFO的發(fā)生過程, 在情景中呈現(xiàn)并學(xué)習(xí)了過去進(jìn)行時態(tài)的意義及其結(jié)構(gòu),學(xué)習(xí)了when和while引導(dǎo)的時間狀語從句。活動3a至活動4通過讀寫的方式,通過任務(wù)驅(qū)動,講述了UFO故事的結(jié)尾,然后通過小組交流活動,應(yīng)用鞏固過去進(jìn)行時態(tài)。
Section B:在Section A的基礎(chǔ)上進(jìn)一步升華,應(yīng)用前面學(xué)習(xí)的知識談?wù)搶W(xué)生身邊常發(fā)生的事情,增強(qiáng)語言的真實(shí)實(shí)用性,教材編排按照先聽說后讀寫循序漸進(jìn)的方式,便于學(xué)生掌握和鞏固。

本單元的主要目標(biāo)是學(xué)習(xí)掌握過去進(jìn)行時態(tài),鞏固應(yīng)用一般過去時態(tài),學(xué)會講故事或描述身邊發(fā)生的事情,它是在學(xué)生已經(jīng)學(xué)習(xí)了現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時態(tài)和一般過去時態(tài)的基礎(chǔ)上繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)的。對于八年級的學(xué)生,學(xué)生已經(jīng)有了一定的詞匯量,特別是要用好多的動詞,學(xué)生有了一定的基礎(chǔ),這樣便于教學(xué)內(nèi)容的突破;更好的是教材選編了一些富有科普意義的UFO,更能激發(fā)學(xué)生的好奇心和學(xué)習(xí)興趣,所以本單元的學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生應(yīng)該能輕松的掌握。

五、教法選擇、學(xué)法指導(dǎo)與資源準(zhǔn)備 根據(jù)學(xué)生特點(diǎn)及其對基礎(chǔ)知識的掌握、教材編排特點(diǎn)以及語言教學(xué)的特征,我準(zhǔn)備將教材作如下整合。第一課時,先從現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時態(tài)引出過去進(jìn)行時態(tài),兩種時態(tài)對比,加深學(xué)生對兩種時態(tài)的理解和知識間的前后聯(lián)系,然后進(jìn)行操練,進(jìn)而教學(xué)when和while的用法,加深鞏固和理解,接著教學(xué)Section B 1,2a,2b,2c;第二課時教學(xué)UFO專題,完成Section A;第三課時安排閱讀復(fù)述教學(xué),將教學(xué)內(nèi)容進(jìn)行升華;第四課時進(jìn)行故事編排的寫作教學(xué),并進(jìn)行單元復(fù)習(xí)小結(jié),完成Self Check。采用以下教學(xué)法:情景創(chuàng)設(shè)呈現(xiàn)語言教學(xué)法、活動交流交際法、視聽法、讀寫法、任務(wù)型語言教學(xué)法、成果分享教學(xué),自學(xué)探究教學(xué)法等。培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自學(xué)探究意識,對學(xué)到的知識應(yīng)該加以歸納、分析、比較,找出異同點(diǎn);加強(qiáng)對新語言的操練。

一、教材內(nèi)容分析
本節(jié)課的主要任務(wù)是完成Section B 4a看圖寫故事,訓(xùn)練寫作能力;4b又通過情景模擬,合作交流,鞏固訓(xùn)練目標(biāo)語言,并能提高學(xué)生興趣;然后復(fù)習(xí)本單元的主要語言結(jié)構(gòu)和新的語言知識點(diǎn),涉及語法、單詞的理解運(yùn)用,同時完成教材self check的練習(xí)。
Self Check中,練習(xí)1旨在檢查學(xué)生掌握運(yùn)用本單元的主要單詞,練習(xí)2是檢查學(xué)生掌握本單元的目標(biāo)語言,練習(xí)3旨在檢查學(xué)生對單詞的記憶和掌握。
