once與ever的區(qū)別

ever常用于疑問句，有時可用于過去分詞前，多在完成時態(tài)中。在句中可譯為“曾經(jīng)”，有時不需翻譯。如：

Have you ever been there ?你去過那兒嗎?

The largest tree ,ever found there ,is one about 500 years old .那兒發(fā)現(xiàn)的最大的樹有大約500年樹齡了。

2)意為“一旦”時，用作連詞引起從句。如：

Once you go there ,buy a book for me .

Once you began, you couldn’t stop. 一旦開始，你就不能停。

Once you object to a man, everything he does is wrong. 一旦你反對一個人，那么他做的一切都是錯的。

對比：once強(qiáng)調(diào)條件意味;as soon as強(qiáng)調(diào)時間的緊接

As soon as you come to Beijing, please let me know. 你一來北京就請告訴我。

once more:once again再一次;又一次。

①Read after me once more.再跟我讀一遍。

②I’d like to see him once more.我想再見他一面。
