3. make up one’s mind
make up one’s mind 相當(dāng)于decide后面接不定式或從句,one’s要與主語一致,mind可以用復(fù)數(shù)。
He made up his mind to catch up with his classmate.
He has made up his mind that he will be a doctor for animals when he grows up.
The students in Class 4 all made up their minds to study hard.
decide 表示在幾件事或幾個人當(dāng)中經(jīng)過選擇。
make up one’s mind 是指下定決心做某事,不可改變

4. before long / long before
A. before long “不久以后”相當(dāng)于soon, a little later.

A. regard …as思想上、感情上“將…看成是,暗含說話人”

C. have / take …as“把…看成是…”,指經(jīng)過考慮得出

7. as if 好像、似乎
