清遠(yuǎn)職業(yè)技術(shù)學(xué)院成立于2002年，是經(jīng)廣東省人民政府批準(zhǔn)、國家教育部備案的綜合性公辦高等院校。學(xué)院坐落在有“珠江三角洲后花園”之稱的中國優(yōu)秀旅游城市——清遠(yuǎn)市。清遠(yuǎn)市毗鄰廣州國際機(jī)場，京珠高速、京廣鐵路縱貫?zāi)媳�，距廣州市中心僅60公里，交通便捷。學(xué)院規(guī)劃用地3461畝，目前校園建成面積近千畝，建筑面積17萬平方米，擁有較為完善的教學(xué)及教學(xué)輔助設(shè)施。     建院以來，學(xué)院以科學(xué)發(fā)展觀為指導(dǎo)，確立了“以就業(yè)為導(dǎo)向，以質(zhì)量求生存，以創(chuàng)新謀發(fā)展，以特色鑄品牌”的辦學(xué)理念，走提升內(nèi)涵、擴(kuò)大規(guī)模、創(chuàng)建特色相統(tǒng)一的可持續(xù)發(fā)展之路。2003年學(xué)院被國家教育部、衛(wèi)生部共同確定為全國護(hù)理專業(yè)緊缺人才培養(yǎng)培訓(xùn)基地。2005年學(xué)院被認(rèn)定為“廣東省扶貧培訓(xùn)基地”。2005年5月，中共中央政治局委員、廣東省委書記張德江在視察我院時給予充分肯定，為學(xué)院留言：“興教育才，科學(xué)發(fā)展，清遠(yuǎn)宏圖，蟠龍騰飛。把清遠(yuǎn)職業(yè)技術(shù)學(xué)院建設(shè)成全國一流職業(yè)技術(shù)學(xué)院�！蹦壳�，學(xué)院正以迎接2008年人才培養(yǎng)工作水平評估為目標(biāo)，堅持嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)治教，嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)治學(xué)，努力營造良好的育人環(huán)境。     全院現(xiàn)有教職工近500人，其中專任教師300多人，擁有一批具有副高以上職稱的學(xué)科帶頭人和專業(yè)骨干教師。此外，學(xué)院還聘有外籍教師、兼職教授和“雙師型”教師。學(xué)院設(shè)有護(hù)理學(xué)院、家政學(xué)院、信息科技學(xué)院、現(xiàn)代教育技術(shù)學(xué)院、繼續(xù)教育學(xué)院等5個二級學(xué)院和生物應(yīng)用技術(shù)、經(jīng)濟(jì)管理、應(yīng)用外國語等3個系，開設(shè)專業(yè)41個。學(xué)院面向全國14個省招生，現(xiàn)有全日制普通專科學(xué)生7000多人。     Founded in 2002, approved by the People's Government of Guangdong Province and put on file to the State Educational Ministry, Qingyuan Polytechnic is a comprehensive and public college of higher learning. With a planed area of 2.1 square km The new campus covers an area of 1000 mu with a building area of 170,000 m2  at 1st of its 3 projects. it lies in Qingyuan Municipality --  which is known as "Backyard Garden of Pearl River Delta "and one of "China's Top Tourist Cities ". The city, with fantastic transport, leads an easy access to Guangzhou International Airport, and only 60 km away from downtown of Guangzhou Municipality. Further more, Beiking-Zhuhai Expressway and Beiking-Guangzhou Railways run through north and south of the city.     Since its founding the college, defines the concept of scientific development and the policy statement  of putting employments above everything else, existing by quality, developing by innovations and making brand with characters. It persistently takes the road of unified and sustainable development and expansion in its construction and management of teaching and internal administration.      In the year 2003, the college was confirmed as a training base for nursing personnel by the State Educational Ministry and the State Health Ministry.     In the year 2005, the college was confirmed as a personnel-training base of Guangdong Province for "Poverty-alleviating Project".     In May of 2005, Member of Political Bureau of Central Committee of CPC and Secretary of Party Committee of Guangdong Province, zhang dejiang, inspected and spoke highly of the college, he wrote： "to cultivate personnel by boosting education, making developments scientifically, letting Qingyuan be more thriving and more prosperous like dragon Panlong flying, and build the college into the first class colleges of the nation."      The college holds 500 dedicated teaching staff, among whom 300 are professionals including key members of professors and foreign teachers. The college comprises 5 schools of nursing, home economics, information & science, modern technology of education, further education, and 3 departments of practical biotechnology, economics & administration and foreign languages. There are more than 7000 students from 14 provinces of the nation finding their very best chance of success in the college  which offers a wide range of professional courses of 41 majors. In order to pass through the national assessment of personnel cultivation project in 2008 the college makes efforts to improve teaching and learning administration so that environment of personnel cultivation can be formed.專業(yè)設(shè)置Curriculum Specialties學(xué)院堅持以轉(zhuǎn)變教育思想為先導(dǎo)，面向市場，以服務(wù)為宗旨，以就業(yè)為導(dǎo)向，以專業(yè)設(shè)置、專業(yè)結(jié)構(gòu)調(diào)整和專業(yè)建設(shè)為龍頭，以教學(xué)改革為核心，以教學(xué)基本建設(shè)為重點，在人才培養(yǎng)上初步形成了主動適應(yīng)經(jīng)濟(jì)社會發(fā)展需求和服務(wù)地方的辦學(xué)機(jī)制。     在新專業(yè)開發(fā)和專業(yè)結(jié)構(gòu)調(diào)整的工作中，學(xué)院將面向三個區(qū)域設(shè)置專業(yè)：一是根據(jù)清遠(yuǎn)市的支柱產(chǎn)業(yè)、特色農(nóng)業(yè)和旅游業(yè)設(shè)置和調(diào)整專業(yè)，把“立足清遠(yuǎn)、服務(wù)地方”的辦學(xué)定位落實到實處；二是面向全國技能型緊缺人才的專業(yè)領(lǐng)域開發(fā)新專業(yè)，以主動適應(yīng)經(jīng)濟(jì)社會發(fā)展對人才的需求；三是面向國內(nèi)外就業(yè)市場設(shè)置特色專業(yè)，叩開國外就業(yè)市場的大門，逐步實現(xiàn)學(xué)院人才培養(yǎng)走向世界的辦學(xué)目標(biāo)。      By taking teaching reform as a leading role, the emphasis  suitable to the requirements of social and economic development as well as service to the localities is on the markets, employment and service. And a new educational system for personnel cultivation has been advocated.  In developing new majors and adjustments the college aims to offer majors in 3 fields, such as fundamental industry, characterized agriculture and tourist industry in Qingyuan by “gaining a firm footholds in Qingyuan and service to local place”. Meanwhile the college sets majors and courses in accordance with the requirements of professional and skillful talents in our country and the world so that students have access to more and better chances and opportunities both at home and abroad.  辦學(xué)成就Pathways To Enrollment and Employmen學(xué)院堅持“立足清遠(yuǎn)、服務(wù)地方、突出特色、做大做強”的辦學(xué)定位，高度重視畢業(yè)生就業(yè)工作，2004年成立了學(xué)院畢業(yè)生就業(yè)指導(dǎo)中心，下設(shè)就業(yè)指導(dǎo)教研室，并確保畢業(yè)生就業(yè)指導(dǎo)服務(wù)機(jī)構(gòu)、人員、經(jīng)費“三到位”。中心本著“管理、服務(wù)、市場、品牌”的工作宗旨，為學(xué)生求職和用人單位招聘提供專業(yè)指導(dǎo)和全面服務(wù)。目前已初步建立較完善的畢業(yè)生就業(yè)市場和就業(yè)服務(wù)體系，并切實加強與企業(yè)的緊密聯(lián)系，推進(jìn)校企合作，現(xiàn)已建立相對穩(wěn)定的院外就業(yè)基地100多個。     為提高學(xué)院的人才培養(yǎng)水平，學(xué)院將堅持“圍繞產(chǎn)業(yè)辦學(xué)，辦好專業(yè)促產(chǎn)業(yè)”，繼續(xù)加大產(chǎn)學(xué)研結(jié)合、校企合作力度，從專業(yè)設(shè)置、校外實訓(xùn)、師資來源、就業(yè)方式、管理理念等幾個方面，努力實現(xiàn)與市場和社會的“零距離對接”。      Abiding by the policy statement of “setting a firm foothold in Qingyuan, offering service to local place, being distinguished and being better and stronger”, the college lays stress on both enrollment and employment. In 2004 Employment & Service Centre was set up. There is no doubt that clear and detailed information, guidance of skillful directors as well as resource in job hunting can be given to the graduates for their successful careers.  The college attaches importance to the job finding and overseas study as well, nation-wide network in personnel exchange functions safe and sound. The college is firmly committed to offering a high quality of employment service and recommendations to the students. Meanwhile cooperative projects and connections with enterprises  as well as more than 100 fixed employment bases have been established.
